Pavel Steidl<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Pavel Steidl was born in Rakovnik (Czech Republic). Since he won first prize at the Radio France International Competition in Paris in 1982, he has become one of the most widely celebrated soloists of his generation. Between the membres of the jury were names of such artist like Alexander Tansman, Antonio Lauro , Maria Luisa Anido \u2026<\/p>\n

Before that, he studied with such guitarist as Milan Zelenka and Stephan Rak in Prague. In 1987 he decided to emigrate to The Netherlands were after years of studying and getting inspiration from many different artist he has created his own style which is not ignoring the authentic way of intepretation of 19th-century guitar literature on periodic instruments and going far to some world music elements. Since 2004 he moved back to Czech republic and since 2015 he gives a lectures at the Conservatoire in The Hague.<\/p>\n

He had honor to work together with such artists like Leo Brouwer, Carlo Domeniconi Paolo Paolini, John Wiliams, Miroslav Vitous, Karin Schaupp, Edin Karamazov and others. Together with Zoran Dukic, Reentko Dirks and Thomas Fellow he is a member of Europian Guitar Quartet since 2012.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Goran Krivokapi\u0107<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Born in 1979, Goran Krivokapi\u0107 started his music education when he was eight with Mi\u0107o Poznanovi\u0107 at the Music School of Herceg Novi in Montenegro and furthered his studies at the Faculty of Music Art in Belgrade in the class of Sr\u0111an To\u0161i\u0107, graduating in 2000. He continued with Hubert K\u00e4ppel and Roberto Aussel at the \u201cHochschule f\u00fcr Musik K\u00f6ln\u201d in Germany, where he graduated and received the \u201cKonzertexamen\u201d degree. He then pursued his master\u2019s degree at the Conservatorium Maastricht, the Netherlands, under the tutelage of Carlo Marchione and Masters after Masters under the tutelage of Raphaella Smits at LUCA School of Arts Campus Lemmensinstituut in Leuven, Belgium. He is professor of guitar at Cologne University of Music and teaches guitar at Detmold University of Music. He lives in Cologne with his wife and son.<\/span><\/p>\n

He won his first international competition in Belgrade at the age of fourteen, and continued to win eighteen more, including \u201cMichele Pittaluga\u201d in Alessandria, Italy (2000), \u201cAndr\u00e9s Segovia\u201d in La Herradura, Spain (2000), Koblenz International Guitar Competition (2003), \u201cGuitar Foundation of America\u201d (GFA) in Montreal, Canada (2004) and \u201cDr. Luis Sigall International Competition of Musical Performance\u201d in Vi\u00f1a del Mar, Chile (2004). Two Chittara d\u2019Oro awards followed at the annual \u201cInternational Guitar Convention in Alessandria\u201d in Italy \u2013 2005 as the best young guitarist of the year and 2006 for his debut disc Goran Krivokapi\u0107 Guitar Recital (Naxos). Since then he has performed all over Europe, North and South America, Asia, Africa and Russia, in halls such as the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, the Tchaikovsky Hall in Moscow, Lubkowitz Palace in Vienna, and Auditorio Conde Duque in Madrid.<\/span><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

So let\u2019s do this: think of anything you could use to describe a performance \u2013 musicianship, musicality, technical brilliance \u2013 the list could go on. Now believe me when I tell you the Goran Krivokapi\u0107\u2019s rendition of the six Giuliani Rossiniane is at the very highest level in anything you can imagine.
