On Sunday morning May 21, the Twents Gitaarfestival takes you on a musical route. A concert with 3 different acts, at three different locations.

In the morning we start at the historic old market of Enschede.

We will start the route with Aldo Likafi. He will set the tone with his rousing Flamenco playing. We take the flamenco guitar out of the concert hall for a moment and bring it back to its roots: between the people in the street, and in the bar. The romantic Spanish sounds in combination with the playful temperament mean that this form of folk music is still not always celebrated all over the world.

After being completely immersed in the mysterious world of the Flamenco guitar for about 25 minutes, we continue to our second location. The players of the Twente mandolin orchestra are waiting for us in Paradise. In the middle of a cackling stream, turtles, tree houses, a mosaic floor and the many tropical plants, we imagine ourselves for a moment in the far south of Italy. The mandolin is a distant relative and close friend of the guitar as we know it today.

Again after dreaming away for 25 minutes, we continue our route to the large Church on the old Market. In the midst of amplifiers, electric guitars, pedals with the latest gadgets and the latest brands of electric guitars, Ramon Zandbergen will live up to his name as Enschede Guitar Vitruoso. With his electric guitar he will explore the possibilities and the sound spectrum to the limit.

Tickets are available at the location itself. If you want to visit this activity, we would like to ask you to email us at Twentsgitaarfestival@gmail.com. In this way we can keep an overview of the number of visitors.
